He worked in an engineering capacity with Barber Colman Company, now a part of Invensys, prior to and while obtaining his law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.

Kevin's practice focuses on intellectual property with particular emphasis on all aspects of patent law, including product clearance counseling and opinions, patent preparation and prosecution, patent litigation and mediation, and licensing, transactional, and due diligence matters. Kevin's experiences include complex patent practice matters, patent interferences, reissues, reexaminations, petitions and appeals. In addition, Kevin has experience in trademark and copyright procurement and litigation matters; unfair competition and deceptive trade practices; misappropriation of trade secrets, and other issues relating to intellectual property rights.

Kevin also has experience in mechanical arts, including compressor technology, hydrostatic transmissions, power tools, medical devices, and vapor recovery systems.

Kevin represents a wide range of well-established and emerging technology companies in all facets of intellectual property and has established and maintained client intellectual property programs. Kevin's practice includes all aspects of complex patent and associated litigation, including trial, preliminary injunction and Markman proceedings, pre-filing investigation and analysis.
